IRIS

Knowledge Base · Billing & pricing

Is there a paid plan, or is IRIS trial-only right now?

At launch, self-service is trial-only: everyone starts with 1,000 free credits and no credit card. Beyond the trial, Enterprise is available today as an invoiced, custom-quoted plan — DPA and retention controls included, founder-led onboarding. Self-service paid tiers launch with card payments and will be per-user hybrid plans for Alert Management (Essential, Professional, Scale): a monthly per-user subscription with a bundled credit allowance, plus credit packs for overage. The SMS-sending API is the exception — it stays prepaid-only and never needs a subscription. Until paid plans launch, talk to us and we'll set you up on a plan directly.

Related questions

What does the Enterprise plan include?

Everything the Free Trial includes at production scale, invoiced on a custom quote with a pooled credit allowance, a DPA and subprocessor list, configurable retention controls, an SLA, and founder-led onboarding — the same underlying platform, not a separate product tier.

Which services do the paid tiers cover?

The per-user hybrid tiers cover the Alert Management services — SMS and Voice/IVR escalation under one subscription. The SMS-sending API (one-shot direct sends) is billed separately on prepaid credits with no subscription; both draw from the same per-tenant credit balance.

What happens when my trial credits run out, before self-service paid tiers exist?

Sending pauses until you top up — talk to us and we'll top you up or move you onto a plan directly. Self-service credit packs and card billing arrive with the paid plans, and are not required to keep sending today.
