What do I get with the free trial, and do I need a credit card?
The free trial gives you 1,000 credits — worth €10 — with no credit card required. Credits are IRIS’s usage unit (1 credit = €0.01), spent per alert as it goes out, so the trial is enough to send real alerts through the full escalation engine, not a demo mode with a watermark.

What happens when my trial credits run out?
Alerts stop sending once your balance is exhausted, rather than silently overcharging you — you’ll need to move to a paid tier or top up with a credit pack to keep sending. Nothing is throttled or degraded before that point.
Can I use the trial for a real deployment, not just testing?
Yes — the trial runs on the same production infrastructure and escalation engine as a paid account, including EU data residency and two-way acknowledgement. It’s a real account with a starting balance, not a separate sandbox.
