# my-iris — Critical communication, resolved. > Critical alert management for regulated industries, by MeshWorks Wireless Oy (Finland). my-iris pushes each alert to the on-call person's my-iris app, calls when the push goes unanswered, and moves down the on-call list until someone acknowledges, then proves resolution for compliance. https://my-iris.io ## Key facts - What it is: a stateful critical-alert platform — not send-and-forget. It escalates through an on-call list, one person at a time, until someone acknowledges, and writes an audit-grade record. - How alerts reach people: a push notification to the my-iris app first (Android with Chrome; iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later, added to the home screen); a voice call when the push goes unanswered (Twilio; 7 languages); then the next person. The push carries no alert text — the app fetches it from my-iris. - Answers: Acknowledge (1) or Skip (2), in the app or on the call ("Press 1 to acknowledge. Press 2 to skip. Press 3 to repeat."). A skip affects that one alert only. Each alert has a message thread among the people it reached. - Escalation: one person at a time, repeating the list and leaving out anyone who skipped, up to 20 attempts by default. When the alert ends, an end report is saved in the app and the console; the SMS end report is a paid option. - Compliance: EU data residency by architecture (Cloudflare Durable Objects, EU jurisdiction); GDPR Art. 15/17; the Data Processing Agreement is available on request; STOP/START opt-out in 7 languages; configurable retention. Sub-processors: Cloudflare, Twilio, Apple and Google (push). - Pricing: per seat per month (a seat is one person who receives alerts); push alerts through the my-iris app are included; voice calls are metered per call and the SMS end report per SMS segment, both from prepaid credit.
